Bradford Island Administrative Record File

Bradford Island is located in the Columbia River at the Bonneville Dam, between the spillway and the first powerhouse. Historic releases of contaminants from prior activities at the island have resulted in contamination on the eastern portion of island and in some adjacent waters of the Columbia River. The contamination is managed under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). This webpage has been created to help compile a list of documents that are applicable to the administrative record in line with CERCLA requirements. The administrative record is designed to tell the story of a response action selection decision and provide documentation showing how the public was involved in selecting the cleanup.
